EDIBLE ROSE BOUQUET

I think careful cooking is love, don’t you? The loveliest thing you can cook for someone who’s close to you is about as nice a valentine as you can give….. #juliachild

Made these edible rose bouquet for valentine day☺️.

No special tools required to make for any part of these beauties. Just a sheet of parchment paper, scissors and your hand is sufficient.

RECIPE:

Just knead the fondant until you get smooth and pliable dough.

For different colours, I have used gel paste. Just divide the fondant in portions and add colour. Mix and knead with the help of cornflour.

Below posted pictures will help you to shape the roses.


Make 3 balls and 1 cylindrical shape. Place them on lower half of the parchment paper. Cover with the upper half. Press with your thumb and spread.


Just press little extra on the upper rim.

Take the pressed elongated portion and roll.


Now stick the petals. Just roll one petal and when it’s coming to an end, insert the second one and repeat the same with the third and last one.


Cut the extra portion from the end and place on cornflour dusted plate. Store in freezer and use when required.
